Alabama played an extra game and was beat soundly. Texas beat 3 top 10 teams this season, Alabama beat 1. The committee will be showing some major favoritism if they put Alabama in with 3 losses.

Agree with your projection. I am seeing a lot of arguing for Alabama to stay in the playoffs, but if Texas is out with 3 losses, Alabama should be as well.
