It’s just this internal thinking I’ve been having just seeing the modern art scene and how I want to express myself within it that feels genuine

Sometimes it can be really beneficial and fun to make in the process. But the issue imo comes from how it not only can be draining, it can also run the rise of your work coming off as “soulless”. Or you ending up half-assing things just to fill a voice, which can risk burnout

My relationship with my art admittedly needs work. It’s also a pattern I’ve been noticing for many artists especially who unfortunately have to present themselves as “influencers/content creators” in order to be noticed
