Slower traffic moves more smoothly, waiting time to enter the traffic flow is reduced, it's easier turning right. It's generally less stressful. In the very early days of motoring, when people weren't used to cars, it was 15 mph in towns.

I’m using DuckDuckGo as a browser, search engine or whatever its called. It doesn’t always display the website logo. For Bluesky I don’t see a little blue butterfly, I have an orange square with the letters Bs. It’s a reminder that even on here there is a certain amount of Bullshit.

Soot blackened Haworth should remain gritty and soot blackened. Why isn't the North blackened any more. It was as it should be. And what happened to the bow legged old man, marked by childhood rickets who I used to see somewhere near Slaithwaite sixty years ago. There was beauty and a tale to tell.
