If you see a Go Fund Me to help disaster victims, many of whom were children, and your first thought is to detract from the fundraiser or say some version of “they get what they voted for” bc of the state they live in, you are no better than MAGA.

Lady who started a *public* Facebook group to deal with her adult daughter’s transition thinks having a trans child is like having a family member with dementia…even though she’s a dementia behavior specialist?! Also thankful her life is ending soon.

I am still in shock, especially when she flares up and starts shouting and gets into a Hormone Frenzy.... I too chose her name and am simply not sure if this is really who she wants to be.... But l've realized that this is NOT my monkey or my circus!! I accept that she has changed and call her regularly to chat about unrelated issues, as she is still the same person deep down.... It's a bit like having someone who is living with dementia.... I'm a RN and licenced accredited CDS Dementia Behavior Related Specialist... So I am looking at dealing with my issue with my daughter in the same light.... This world and generation are extremely different to the one I grew up in... I thank God for the fact that I am 65 and nearing the end of my journey on Earth.... I hate to think of the future my daughter will be faced with, as she gets older... She is now 42... No children and still married to her wife for past 11 years... Yeas the same woman who he married "pre-coming out"... So at least my daughter is not alone and thankfully has someone who stands by her side.... I cannot fathom out how, why, or what... I simply accept and pretend that everything is OK.... It's toxic and destructive, as you've written above. I think the transsexual community would be well served to do the same: reject trans and queer ideology, define yourselves as transsexuals, committed transitioners who've existed for many decades, who aren't a part of the modern queer movement. Tennessee has made new laws criminalizing hiding undocumented immigrants from law enforcement, making a new felony “human smuggling”, allowing the state AG to act against organizations, including churches, and creates a separate misdemeanor for people who “harbor or hide” undocumented immigrants.

Lee signed the bill on May 9 after Republican lawmakers approved it in the House of Representatives, 73-22, on April 22. The bill passed the Senate on April 16 with a 36-6 vote. With his signature, the law goes into effect July 1. SB 0392/HB 0322 was introduced by Representative Chris Todd (R-Madison County) and Senator Brent Taylor (R-Memphis). The bill makes several changes to the state's existing laws around human trafficking, creating the offense of "human smuggling" — a Class E felony that would be treated the same as other human trafficking offenses. People who hide and transport at least 10 adults, or five minors, who are in the country illegally for "commercial advantage or private financial gain" would commit "human smuggling." The bill also said the offense applies to people who "encourage or induce" the same number of people to stay in Tennessee against federal law. The bill also allows the state's attorney general to act against organizations, including nonprofits and businesses, that they believe violate human trafficking laws. The state could ask courts for restraining orders against them, permanent injunctions, or ask the court to revoke essential documents like certificates and licenses. The bill also allows the attorney general to ask courts to "involuntarily dissolve the organization." It would also create a separate Class A misdemeanor for people who "harbor or hide" individuals living in the country illegally. The offense would carry a $1,000 fine for each immigrant that people help hide.

I found out what Borderline Personality Disorder type my mom is. To be clear, this is from a book, it’s not an official diagnosis. But it’s crazy to come across a broad outline of something you thought you’d never be able to describe to people as common enough to be a ‘type’.
The Witch A note regarding name calling: labeling someone as this particular BPD type is very different from the general practice of name calling. Typical Thoughts Unconsciously, Witches hate themselves because they grew up in an environment that "required complete submission to a hostile or sadistic caregiver" (2000). They continue the cycle by acting cruelly to others, especially those who are too weak, young, or powerless to help themselves. Typical Emotions They feel no remorse for nightmarish acts, showing more interest in their own well-being than concern over the way they've hurt others. The Witch's triggers include jealousy, criticism, betrayal, abandonment, feeling left out, and being ignored. Typical Actions and Central Dilemma Most BP parents do not physically abuse their children. Those who do probably fall into this category. However, the abuse usually occurs when other competent adults are not present. Thus, family members can live in fear while all seems well to the outside world. Witches want power and control over others so that others do not abandon them. When someone or something triggers the Witches' abandonment fear, these BPs can become brutal and full of rage, even punishing or hurting family members who stand in their way (2000). These types of BPs are most resistant to treatment: they will not allow others to help and the source of self-loathing is very deep. Typical Thoughts, Emotions, and Actions of Family Members "I will comply with what she wants. Resistance is futile. I will be assimilated." Fear in victims. • Denial on the part of those who could protect the victims. • Tries not to trigger the witch. But her behavior is not really about the non-BP, so this strategy doesn't work. The Effect of the Witch's Behavior in Children • Children live in terror of Witches' capricious moods; they are the "collateral damage" of a secret war they did not start, do not understand, and cannot control. • Attacks are random, intense, and cruel. Children automatically think they're at fault and can become shamed, depressed, insecure, dissociative, and hypervigilant. • As adults they may have multiple difficulties with self, relationships, physical illness, and even post traumatic stress disorder.
