Bentley the pallid bat (A. pallidus) in his favorite spot in the flight house. Bentley has since been released but other pallids have roosted in the same area. Maybe there's some scent left over after washing/cleaning or they just like the setup. 🦇

Lazlo the Pallid bat (A. pallidus) loses his battle against napping. When the weather cools down, even in the valley in AZ where cold temperatures are mild, bats are going into torpor (like hibernation but they wake up periodically).
