When I was doing state admin law at CalDOJ, we denied a license to work in a gambling establishment for the misdemeanor CIMT of tagging a 110 Freeway pylon in LA. 🤷♂️
It was mandatory denial, so didn't have any choice, but pretty wild that it qualified. A lot of our precedent was immigration cases.
