Two perspectives on Ovechkin’s scoring from his "office" at the top of the left face-off circle:

The first is the position in the goal mouth, where they are clustered in the upper-left and upper-right corners, and along the left-hand post.

The second is showing the shot’s location on the ice. These form a blob extending from just below the face-off dot to a few meters above the circle. There is a concentration at the top of the circle’s arc that extends roughly the width of the circle.

Orange dots are one-timers, purple dots are "catch-and shoot" wristers. One-timers dominate the left-hand side, wristers the right.
