That's terrible, the minister Gwynne seems to just parrot the IPC cell party line, which is not based on science. But not just him, his (Conservative) predecessor Caulfeld was the same - see attached. Note they imply that's no evidence FFP3 is good for source control 🤦

I estimate that a chat with someone infected with COVID gives a 1% chance of infection. This is a very very rough estimate, and uses pre-vaccination data, so should be lower now.
