Speaking as a tax-paying Californian, is infuriating.

When they start mentioning things like "spheres of influence", I suspect Russia will be going after Europe, and the US will be trying to take over both American continents. China will probably seize the rest of Asia. Then when their relationships fade, they too will go to war.

There is a recipe I recall from Bon Appétit for egg salad tartiness which calls for numerous fresh herbs, Dijon, cider vinegar, and the eggs are torn and lightly tossed together. It's a refreshing change from the norm.

Speaking as someone who lives in a southern California coastal city where roads and parking spaces are tiny, and 30mph speed limits matter, the size of American vehicles is way out of hand. That being said, his reasoning is utterly unhinged, as usual.
