Incredible man
The hero of the Hannukah massacre has been identified as Ahmed Al-Ahmed, a 43-year-old fruit shop owner. He disarmed one of the gunmen. He is Muslim.
May he be an inspiration to the world.

In the midst of a tide of misinformation, it does sometimes feel like a pointless fight, especially as the structures that could combat misinfo—from fact checking to regulations to platform policies—are being dismantled. That doesn't mean it's a fight that's not worth having.

Property taxes are confusing, because the UCP prefers it.

Last year, Edmonton increased municipal taxes by 5.7%. But then the UCP hiked the Education Tax by 9% and forced cities to collect it for them.

The UCP loves systems where others shoulder the blame for their actions.

Parents, the UCP kept your kids out of school for over 3 weeks and hasn't taken a single step since to improve learning conditions.

What an insult to you, your kids and their teachers.

And now they’re going to force teachers back to those same conditions.

The cost of living keeps rising, but the UCP haven’t raised the minimum wage in SEVEN years. Alberta’s New Democrats believe it’s long overdue.

We can build a better province and provide workers with what they need: a better paycheque.
