“‘Hope’ is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all…”
— Dickinson
If this is cross dimensional, how about Annie or Peni?

Incorrect- I’m glad you have a passion for comics, however fake aged up Jon Kent (written by anyone) is the nadir of DC storytelling since 2019.
January 15, 2026 at 1:27 AM
But, if editors are competent, they would not go with fake, aged up Jon Kent.
January 15, 2026 at 1:25 AM
Some excellent ideas- especially young Jon.

The only “banger” DC publishing puts forward consistently is the hollow clatter of incompetent editors evacuating professional responsibility to their craft.

Deluded voters for this insular award have demonstrated again their hug-box-limited span of vision. This is a poor choice.

Aged up Jon Kent- agreed.
January 3, 2026 at 2:33 AM
I appreciate your post.

It is time to age revert the character, and end the aged up failure- that mistake has actively held back the character for years.

Accurate.

The Jon Kent age up failure is the nadir of DC comics of the past decade.
January 2, 2026 at 6:20 AM
Accurate.

There is, perhaps, negative numbers on this metric… for an accurate assessment of fake, aged up Jon Kent?
December 28, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Agreed.

Dan Slott will follow a Superior Spider-Man trajectory, and Tomorrow Man will definitively kill or imprison the beloved young Jon Kent.

DC has failed so fully, their incompetence is so unmasked, their inability to accept their own mistakes so ingrained- they will fuck this up, as well.

Incorrect take, apologies.
The superfluous twins epitomize wasted space: zero to offer any plot/storyline. They are substitute characters appealing to a poseur DC sub-group.

Imagination/conception is not a prime skill for young Jon Kent critics (or, the editors/writers who fail with the character).

Thanks for the reply-agreed, aged up mannequin Jon has been below mediocre. Secret Six, as with all recent portrayals, was poorly done.
Ultimately the only way to save the IP is to age revert, building a different Jon Kent through graceful aging/experiences that allow divergence from Clark’s shadow.
December 21, 2025 at 2:51 PM
Accurate concern- placing fake, aged up Jon Kent on any team is a recipe for further failure.
December 21, 2025 at 1:16 AM
That’s an excellent idea. And, overdue.

Thanks!

It’s never too late-thanks for these comments.

An age reversion would jettison the failures of the aged up characterization and save the IP.

I think there are great stories to be explored about Jon evolving his powers and his sexuality as he grows up, as opposed to the artificial, failed age up.
December 19, 2025 at 1:10 PM
Accurate
December 19, 2025 at 1:06 PM
This is an accurate statement- fake, aged up Jon Kent has been a failure, and continuity poison at DC, since editors decided to give Bendis authority to damage the DC universe.
December 19, 2025 at 1:06 PM
Accurate

Young, beautiful and unstoppable. Accurate, thanks- that’s how I’ll stay.

You’re so intelligent!
