This titled featured fake, aged up Jon Kent.

Apologies, but there is no question why it failed-any page or panel featuring aged up Jon Kent is an indictment, emphasizing the incompetence of DC editors and leadership.
Not because the characterization is gay, but because it is holistically terrible.
Still wild that Nicole Maines made the queerest super-team (Dreamer, Jon Kent, Jay Nakamura *and* Catman) and it didn't get much traction with queer nerds.

Accurate.

The best Jon Kent, so different from the aged up failure.
I just finished reading the Lois & Clark mini. It's an okay story. Weeks art is stellar. Young Jon Kent. Is awesome,

Fail. Fail. Fail. That’s all DC can do with fake, aged up Jon Kent.
Can’t plot, write, or edit this aged up IP, be it physical or Webtoon.

Jon Kent:
DC editors/staff allowed Bendis to publish the kidnap and years-long torture of an 11 yr old child.
DC editors/staff allowed Waid to publish the kidnap and torture (and cyborging) of a 17 yr old child.

Kidnapping and torture are fun to joke about, Sam Camp-right?

DC- still failing fans

I did not expect a gem of an article!
- acknowledging the best version of Jon Kent was young Jon
- confirming the fan majority did not (still do not) like aged Jon “…fans saw this as the moment DC began to lose its direction with the character…”

Looking forward to the “Metropolis and Beyond” panel…
What could revealed?
-Jon Kent age reversion plans?
-a written apology to fans from the editorial staff for continuing with fake, aged up Jon Kent?
-an apology from staff for the publication of Shazam issue 20?

Can’t wait!

This message from Jim Shooter (RIP EIC) has crossed the decades from last century to galvanize the editorial suite at DC publishing.

Start doing good comics, DC editors.
‘Nuff said.

I fear and hope. I burn and freeze like ice.
I fly above the wind, yet can I not arise;
And nought I have, and all the world I seize on…”

“As if the Sea should part
And show a further Sea—
And that—a further—and the Three
But a presumption be—
Of Periods of Seas—
Unvisited of Shores—
Themselves the Verge of Seas to be—
Eternity—is Those—"

Asking your favor
As Coltrane’s brass swirls
and flashes,
laughing breaths brush
my cheek as I
shift unsubtly close,
fingertips fumbling
to grasp your hand-
nervous motion
liminal as fresh hope

“…Such thing as freedom,--he beholds the light
Burst, dazzling; though the glory blind his sight
He knows the joy. Fools laugh because he reels
And weilds confusedly his infant will;
The wise man watching with a heart that feels
Says: ‘Cure for freedom's harms is freedom still.’”

I was going to mow and do hedge-trimming.

The rabbits sent out a negotiator.
He won’t stop eating clover long enough to converse.
I’m hopeful.

“I'd like to drape
the dust of this world
in droplets of dew.

Spring morning marvel:
lovely nameless little hill
on a sea of mist.

How I long to see
in blossoms of breaking dawn
the face of a god.

It is sad that actual, subjective comics journalism and critique is mostly dead.

Such vacuum leads to simple minds making simple judgements, sans context or understanding about the beautiful serial art/literature combination that is comics.

Shallow reader-response interpretation, at $7 per issue.

those condemned to life watched how smooth and sweet a white
