Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.

In Washington state, ICE dragged a farmworkers’ rights activist and leader out of his car to detain him.

China is NOT going to come back to the bargaining table.
Why would it?
It has many buyers of their products other than the U.S., and it has already made deals to backfill what it lost in imports from other countries.
China is fine. WE are in the shitter.
