Marc Elias is one of the heroes of our time, leaving Big Law to fight this assault on democracy at every level. Heather Cox Richardson is my second inspiration, using her deep history knowledge to show how these disparate attacks fit larger patterns—and to chart a path forward against all adversity.

The overwhelming grift by this admin is only overshadowed by their utter incompetence. The things they should have been competent doing, they aren’t. It’s a bumbling crime ring from top to bottom. I’ve truly tried to objectively find one person doing a competent job. There isn’t one.
A president is being openly bribed by the oil-rich despots of Qatar, and THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES also just happened to be a foreign agent for Qatar.

In any sane world, this is the kind of shit that should collapse a government!!!

Could it be anymore glaring?
He stood there on Jan 20 and falsely mouthed the words to protect and defend our Constitution.

Asked now on Meet the Press if he thinks he needs to uphold the Constitution, he says, “I don’t know.”

Translation: No.

Woe to America and the utter failure of putting this man back in our Oval Office.

No kings. No oligarchy.

Thomas Paine
Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.

I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.

Remind you of anyone?

This is not the nation of my birth.
Everything about this is loathsome except for the people at ACLU of Virginia, the Center for Constitutional Rights, HMA Law, and the Immigrant & Non-Citizen Rights Clinic at CUNY School of Law who are devoting themselves to fighting these wrongs.
Georgetown scholar Dr. Khan Suri, who was abducted by ICE, was refused food/water to break Ramadan fast, housed in a room without a bed, and issued *used* underwear.

His child cried for days after he was taken and has since stopped speaking.

Trump is showing the ultimate disrespect to our fallen soldiers.
He is not attending the dignified transfer so he can attend the LIV golf tournament & chill with Saudis- the very people that aided in destroying the Twin Towers on 9/11.
Trump is a literal piece of sh:t.
A man’s gotta have a code. Trump’s code is that the Saudis are paying him millions to host the golf tournament, so that’s where he is.
