I’m more of an orthodox Marxist than a Maoist or a Stalinist. And you’re right that you can’t get a Marxist revolution without some violence. My thing is though, even a more authoritarian form of communism is going to be preferable to capitalism.

Capitalism doesn’t allow for no one getting killed. It’s a key component of the ideology. Work for the corporations, let them get rich off your labor, or you starve or die of lack of healthcare.

I’m pretty sure the Stalin figure includes all nazi soldiers killed in World War II since that’s how the “black book of communism” got those figures and I’m assuming that’s where Google is getting theirs from.

I would prefer Stalinism or Maoism to what we have today. They’re more authoritarian than I’d prefer but they’re no more authoritarian than our current government. And they’re communist, so it wouldn’t be so bad.

Those statistics aren’t even accurate. Some people did starve in a famine, nowhere near that many, and they weren’t intentional deaths. Capitalists actively support people starving to death and dying from lack of healthcare. That’s the difference.

Isn’t capitalist USA currently starving 40 million people by ending SNAP, and most capitalists find that funny and based? The US has the death penalty, the US has private prisons where people who committed nonviolent offenses are forced to work for 10 cents an hour making products for corporations.

Every day I hope that even one person actually shows these fascists what they think. Make the rest of them scared shitless to do their jobs.
