Cherry-picking the stats is ridiculous but this means that the 47% remaining can either be $15k to $49k or $200k+. So is this implying that there are way more in the lower side of the higher side, smh.

Capcom, thank you! Was literally asking when this will arrive since the new Onimusha's announcement lol.

I'm hoping Square Enix would've remake this series as well since it somewhat plays into one of their popular titles.

If you have all of the Borderlands 3 DLCs, this is the actual size lol

Games that will continue into completion for next year are Alien Isolation, Borderlands 3, and Wolfenstein 2 DLCs. As well as whatever multiplayer games (that never seem to end), haha.

The only game that I didn’t end up finishing was Forager. It was a nice game to mindlessly play, though it had some puzzles in the game. I think the game had an ending? It was just that it was more of a grind to get to that point, I think.

Game that was underwhelming that I completed was Soul Hackers 2. Not a bad game per se, just that it didn’t impress in elements of gameplay, level design, and story whereas the elements borrowed from Persona or SMT just didn’t help it. Otherwise, I really do like the game’s environment and music.

Though it may be from the PS2 era, it holds up really well and has a very unique look that makes me wish we had another game with similar looking spaces. Overall, a great story with cast and decent gameplay that reminds me of the CRPGs I’ve played like Pillars of Eternity or Tyranny.

When going through FF12, I felt a sense of wanting to go “beyond the canvas”. The levels/environment were beautifully made but I wanted to explore more of the cities, much like I did in FF16.
December 27, 2024 at 11:27 PM
Honorable mention is FF12 since I actually felt it didn’t fit in the categories above. Plus, I wrote this for beautiful environments originally but it felt out of place.

Back to topic, I decided to finish the whole collection & man, I really appreciate the devs' ambition to try new things in each installment. I hadn’t finished KH3+ReMind, Chains, BBS, and 2.8 before this year but glad I went into them. Now I look forward to seeing KH4 or whatever is next for KH.

I grew up with the Kingdom Hearts games. I still remember KH1 commercials on the kids channel and just wanting to hear Utada’s song play. I am also one of the guilty people who bought all the versions of KH1 and 2 for all my PS consoles but I hope PC will be my last version, sigh.

I started Passpartout back in 2018 but stopped due to being busy with school. Since I had some time this year, I decided to return to it and finally get to all of its ending which was quite tough. Very cathartic game. Looking forward to trying out its sequel.
December 27, 2024 at 11:09 PM
Game revisited to finish was Passpartout 1 and games that I revisited/returned to finish as well Kingdom Hearts (the whole collection).

Going to existing places is quite refreshing & I hope to explore more in Pirates in Hawaii next year. The game had great gameplay, way better than 7. Story was good, the ending was little annoying. The ending song with the scene, beautiful. Love the characters too with their banters & developments.

The addition of Hawaii in Infinite Wealth was a no brainer for a new setting with beautiful looking environments. Being a fan of the Yakuza series, I look forward to places that are recreated that I otherwise wouldn’t have visited due to reasons.

Gameplay was fun but definitely has drawbacks for me in some of the systems. Story was trying too hard to topple Final Fantasy 15 but imo, I’d prefer they had tried something different.
December 27, 2024 at 10:28 PM
Final Fantasy 16 Complete Ed is so good looking from the characters to the action to the environments. It’s a great sight every step of the way through the game. It’s a shame that I can’t walk through more of the world but I really appreciate what they have shown through the whole game.
December 27, 2024 at 10:28 PM
The levels/puzzles felt like it held the environments hand in hand. It is a shame that Tequila Works, devs behind the game, had to go through insolvency this year.
December 27, 2024 at 10:15 PM
It’s just that the game was so stylistically well put together with all the biomes that fits the journey of the character. It felt like I was wandering in a gallery of Ghibli-like environments.
December 27, 2024 at 10:15 PM
Though they could’ve done better with facial mocaps, the acting was awesome. Gameplay definitely improved between games and level design was great. Looking forward to whatever is next for the game if another installment is coming.

If I had flowers, I would give them to the artists behind the Plague Tale series. I was blown away by the many highly detailed environments. On top of that, the many things behind VFX, character design, and animations, they are all just so well made.
December 27, 2024 at 10:04 PM
Games with amazing visuals would go to the Plague Tales series, Rime, FF16, and Infinite Wealth. All had lots of amazing environments that I took many screenshots of.

I mean, we get Gladiator 2 movie but not Ryse 2, ha! Anyways, I did read that the game was gonna have some kind of sequel but things soured so it’s kinda sad to see that happen.
December 27, 2024 at 9:42 PM
A shame Avowed didn’t take Tyranny’s world but… Pillars is more fleshed out so I guess it’s much easier to make a new game within that. Tyranny has a lot to offer and I really enjoyed the game overall.
