Personally, I think ONL this year feels like I'm watching SGF again in a different format and makes me think that the games industry really is moving slow this time around. But then again, GTA6 is eating up that time window of mid-2026 and we still got layoffs happening.

Took a look through my Steam wishlist after reaching 15000+ on the list to clean it up. I'm so devastated by the many that disappeared or no longer on sale. It just sucks to see titles of interesting indies or some well-known titles not be accessible anymore. Now the list went back below 15000, :(

State of Play showcase today was really good. Lots of new games to look forward to. Biggest one for me is "Romeo is a Dead Man". Reminds me of Killer7. Also nice to see new updates on Silent Hill f and MGS Delta.

The Nintendo Virtual Game Card system and Steam Family should takes notes on each other because I think it would make sharing games better. I like the 2 week time limits which should be a Steam Family thing. Some people can be on a single game forever and never give it back unless spoken to

GDC week is here.
And my streak for not attending GDC continues, ha! I'm on an 8 year streak so far (since I started going to school to learn game dev). Still not much reason to attend and no munny to go.

I have a weird realization that someone at Capcom wants to confuse us with Monster Hunter World and Wilds like Outer Worlds and Outer Wilds. The difference is one is named for the same series while the others aren't, haha.

In all my life, I've never made yearly goals because I had long term goals, a lot of times. This year is turning out to be my only exception, haha. That's only because 2023 and 2024 owes me lots and I would like for things to be given back.

I really enjoyed TGA this year, definitely worthy of the 10 year shine. This year had way, way more games I really wanted to get and play than the past years. I also think it slightly budge on giving some time to new devs but still lacks in that spot. But hey, looking forward to next year, I guess.
