less glib: if you already have a good song with an attention-catching opening then i don't see the point in making the listener sit through a prologue before they get to hear it. but maybe your good song with an attention-catching opening is 60s long. then it's not a prologue, it's just a good song!

speaking as a non-technical person who has tolerated windows 10 all these years, the 'upgrade' to 11 is not really all that drastic a transition but it's as good a place as any to draw a line and say "this ship is not rightable, i'm off".

i don't think people really remember windows 10 that fondly, it's just that 11 is more egregious still across every domain 10 was criticised for, so it looks less-bad by comparison.
