There is an event horizon, of course, where this captured money appears to slow down, like Apollo in Zeno's Paradox, ever closer by smaller degrees to Holmes's Jupiter Metals—but in actuality those 'subsidiary corporations' have flashed invisibly to the no-point of infinite mass which is Holmes's wealth."

The Poem "Bitter Cold in the Villages" by Bai Juyi (772-846), translated by 黑瘋驄. It reads: Eighth year, twelfth moon, Fifth day, snow without end. Bamboo and cedars die in this cold. And so do any peasants without warm clothes. Turning around in the midst of their villages, You see ten shacks, each with eight or nine poor. And when the North Wind cuts like a sword, Cotton clothes won't keep a life from bleeding out. Huddled around weak flames of burning brambles, They fret through the nights, waiting for dawn. And so it goes, through each year's Great Cold, The people of the land have the most hardship. Now look at me as I write of them. I hide within the gates of my rustic hut. In brown fur coat and rough silk quilt, I lounge at ease in all this extra warmth. Only by fate do I escape their cold and hunger And live a life beyond the rough ridged fields. reminds me of this old blog post about how companies will actively exploit a doctor's conscience - make them feel like they're failing their patients by *not* prescribing them promoted medications.

In reality, pharma companies have figured out that some people have ethical qualms – “evil cannot possibly understand good” only works in movies – and adjusted their strategies accordingly. An excerpt of text. It reads: Okay, imagine this. You’re a doctor and one of your patients comes in with incurable chronic pain that’s ruining their life. You try the normal medications on it and nothing works very well. There’s a high-tech next-generation medication available that you think is a good fit for your patient’s disease, but it’s not covered by their insurance and there’s no way the patient can afford it. You have to tell this guy that there’s nothing you can do for him. Then a drug company representative comes to you bearing a big box of free samples. By “free samples” I mean hundreds of pills, enough to help the patient for the better part of a year – and maybe at the end of that time you’ll get another box of free samples... some olive knowledge for you: here's my "mystery oil" which once preserved pickled peppers & to which i now add the remaining oil from jars of olives & various other deli products. i mix it with mayonnaise to make the greatest sandwich spread of all time.

furthermore when will nintendo explain why they BLEACHED him for smash bros? this was 9/11 for questionably ethnic white boys everywhere.
The guest miis as they appeared in Super Smash Bros 4. Included are Guests B and F, who look indistinguishable from their appearances on wii titles, and Guest C, who is now depicted with pale skin and black hair (rather than with olive skin and brown hair, as he had been previously).

one day in 2006 i discovered that i look like Mii Guest C from Wii Sports. in that moment i realised that if he could play pro doubles tennis, i too could follow my dreams. positive representation for questionably ethnic white boys is SO important.
