How is social media defined? In the broadest sense, you are right. But in another sense Friendster, MySpace, Facebook, etc are a different class of social media and it makes sense to call it first gen if you classify it that way.

The vast majority of crypto and blockchain are scams or just badly implemented. There’s at least one that is solid tech with a long-term plan. Chia Network is doing it right. No hype, just solid tech being built slow and steady. I used to work there. Founder and CEO are experienced technologists.

If you actually believe this then you must believe Israel’s government should be removed since Israel has killed more people, more civilians, than Hamas ever has.
