New publication with full genomes of all the extant #Lovebird species. Making these genomes publicly available paves the way for research into numerous aspects of the conservation and evolution of this fascinating group of African #parrots.

This morning over 100 African Grey parrots arrived in Kindu, central #DRC, following repatriation from #Turkey. These endangered #parrots were seized on a #TurkishAirlines flight in August. Their return is down to a hugely impressive effort by many organisations & individuals. Congrats to all 👏👏👏
