I think at least in my/our? friendship groups we do talk about it - even if uneasily. its so important!

And the amount of something doesn't effect the vermin designation? Bc it seems more like a value judgement term than a legal (or taxonomical) one!

Is there an argument that the number of animals/insects etc is part of what qualifies something as an infestation? I find it hard to believe that if there was e.g. a secret attic full of hundreds of rabid dogs they would be classed as pets
