Honestly I’d be curious to see an overlay of when fights occur. My evidence-free wild speculation is that the home team, down in the game, puts its “high energy” line out for a shift to try to get everyone fired up. I suspect that works less well than folks think and they end up shorthanded.

I’m blanking on specific examples but I feel like there’s a trope of “skinny guy loving a corpulent woman who dotes on feeding him” in animation, but it’s always played for laughs.
