But it would appear that the majority of the GOP are, for now, getting what they want. Or they're so compromised that they're cowed. Either way it looks doubtful their behaviour will change. Perhaps it's hubris or short sightedness but if trump continues their fortunes will change.

The Nazis got themselves elected "legally" not necessarily ethically, once in they started changing laws and all the atrocities that followed were deemed as legal. Good luck you folks are in for a rough time.

A lot of health care staff get threatened face to face, sometimes families are included and some of these threats are made by people capable of carrying it through. Sometimes the HCW is assaulted, however the perpetrators don't get bail mainly because they don't even get charged.
