After Wes Streeting's Today prog debut as Alan "I'm 100 per cent Faithful" Carr this morning - let the Celebrity Traitors 'Labour MPs edition' begin.
Luckily for Starmer, so far, no-one wants to be Jonathan - the traitor who has to be sacrificed for someone else to win (see Tom Watson, series 1).

PS: If Caerphilly Castle was in was England or Scotland, it would be a ridiculously famous landmark. Instead, for most English people who hear the word Caerffili, they just think of cheese.
(The cheese is also the *best* cheese, apart from all the other amazing Welsh cheeses)

Painful to see Labour do so badly in its Welsh heartland, but heartening to see people do want to stop Reform.
A lesson for Labour: it's more than possible to win with a bold, redistributive offer, rather than tanking to the right to stop Reform.
But time is running out.

Once again the Telegraph is shaming itself with its reporting of the hotels issue, now in Epping.
Absolute disgrace.
Headline should be 'I'm not Tommy Robinson but...'

This year I saw 20+ acts - folk, techno, hiphop, silly, iconic, disco, indie, punk and 3x LeftField chats on Far Right, disability cuts & care crisis.
Loyle Carner to Luke Una, Scissor Sisters to Self Esteem, Pulp to Prodigy, Bragg to Boy Slim, it was all bloody joyous.

There is no place for hate at #Glastonbury, but there were 3,000 performances on 100 stages seen by 210k people, across 900-acre site of which 1 caused controversy.
Yes it's got more posh, but 1k workers, 2k lovely volunteers & 10k stall holders also a huge part of the festival.

Been going to Glastonbury for almost 30 yrs, by hook or crook with the same mates... always fascinated to return and hear about the hate-filled/middle class/abomination I've attended that bears zero resemblance to the lovely, music and joy-filled 3/4 days I've witnessed on Worthy Farm

Managed to miss entire spending review up while filming up a Welsh mountain with no phone signal.
Delighted to have come down to find the Labour government has become Labour again!
Eryri is a powerful place.
Long live Rachel from Redistribution.

Meet @floodmary.bsky.social aka Mary Mary Long-Dhonau, who became an anti-flood + climate campaigner after her family home was deluged by sewage.
She describes impact on her kids, one of whom is autistic, precious keepsakes lost - and why she wants to protect others.

When I first met Joy Dove, I never thought she would still be campaigning for the truth about her daughter Jodey Whiting's death 8 years later.
But I also knew she would never, ever give up.
Today's coverage is a tribute to a mother's love.

One of the most heartbreaking and angering stories we've ever covered for #RealBritain.
And absolute credit to the indefatigable Joy Dove, who reduced hundreds of people to tears at our Labour Conference fringe event in 2019.
Never, ever, mess with a Teeside mam.

Breaking news that Britain's greatest mum - aka Joy Dove – has finally won her battle for #Justice4Jodey.
The Coroner concluded that Jodey's suicide was in the context of her deteriorating mental state precipitated by the withdrawal of state benefits.
Exactly as Joy has always said.

For this week's #RealBritain we visited communities in Bolton, Birkenhead and Manchester's Stretford - who told us that far from being an 'island of strangers', after years of neglect and austerity, people are coming together in unprecedented ways.

On train home from Stockton thinking about how quiet it was last night on a Friday night and what that says about cost of living on Teeside.
I spend a lot of time in towns held back by last 14+ years of neglect but pubs are still usually lively on a Friday.

So much chat about how young people don't want to work... not enough about how zero hours & exploitative practices affect young people, young women most of all.

Me + @journomaryamq.bsky.social worked with @youngwomenstrust.bsky.social to uncover some grim tales.
