I accidentally put my film camera through the TSA scanner (I know) and the scanner fucked up half my photos—and created this uncanny effect on a simple snapshot of Elliott Bay, in Seattle.

Small win for me today: this anthology for younger readers, featuring my @electriclit.bsky.social essay, arrived in the mail! I’m honestly delighted by the prospect that some of my writing might be inspiring to younger readers.
