This is the Crossens Canoe, which is 1500 years old. It was found in a field near here in 1899 and is now on permanent display in Southport and it's RUBBISH. Look at it. Call that a canoe? No wonder they left in a field for 1500 years.
A roughly-carved canoe from the Early Middle Ages which is in pretty good condition considering it's been in a marsh for 1500 years. But I'll be very surprised if anyone actually shows up to claim it.
