Discovered this gem in a local supermarket. Buying it by the can saves valuable refrigerator space before you throw it in the garbage.

Glad we cleared that up.

I think the problem is larger than just college students.

The Trump Administration is determined to provoke street confrontations that will allow them to declare an insurrection. When that comes, they will already have troops on the streets or who have recent experience in key major cities.

They're in a hurry because the mid-terms are coming.

I learned this from an Aussie fishing guide in Oman. I tried it on a track so bumpy my insides hurt. (In this clip I braced my phone against the vehicle.)

If he's using iPhone 14 or later, he is probably using the stabilizer feature. Go to camera/video and check on the man running at the top left. It's a fantastic capability.

"Some of that cost could be passed down to consumers." When a package comes in to Customs they contact the receiver to pay the duty, not the sender.

All of the cost will be passed on to consumers.

Deliberate ambiguity to avoid offending the White House, I suspect.

We got us some hi-test, primo-grade bullshit here. Drug companies charge Americans more because they'll pay it.

The most expensive part of Wegovy is the injector pen. The drug itself costs about 29 cents. It lists in the US at $1,349.

This image is for anyone who keeps find their good kitchen knives in the dishwasher. If you print this picture and put it on the fridge the problem will be solved. Theoretically.

Or maybe this is his motivation, taken from a 2021 interview and quoted today in Heather Cox Richardson's latest 'Letter From an American.'

The thirst for vengeance runs deep with this administration.

I'm old enough to remember the doctrine of papal infallibility.

Why did Conservative bishops and cardinals oppose Pope Francis for his progressive views? Where does their loyalty lie? Why do they think their conservative dogma is more important than the word of God?

In an article on Mark Carney and Canada's election on 28 April, they included this boilerplate statement on how the US defends Canada.

They never, ever, explain who Canada is being defended from. Three oceans have helped to ensure our safety from every other country but <checks notes> the US.

Poilievere announced another one of his 'tough on crime' policies today: the '3 strikes' law. If you're convicted of 3 serious crimes, you get ten years to life, no parole.

Frankly, if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it.

Here's an abstract from a paper on California's experience.

This is a dire wolf cub, one of two in the world. There's a good article on how they are being 'deëxtincted' by a company in Texas. The article is here: www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...
