Didn't take long for "what about the money Liverpool recouped" to be used as an excuse for flop signings. They also signed the players that were sold for a lot ofoney, Diaz didn't turn up on a free and leave for £60m

If you can find a new way to try and convince us that Wirtz isn't a flop, that Liverpool's business was actually brilliant, that Slot truly is the greatest ever manager and that they're the best run club the world has ever seen - that would be great.

Also, money is important because the clubs won't be the ones paying for it, as with everything it'll be passed on to the customer.

Jonathon's point about GLT working because the goal frame is a set size seems to be important, how high does Philippe want this hypothetical camera to point? What if the ball is kicked 100ft into the air beyond the scope of this fantasy camera? What if someone is in the way of the fantasy camera?

Summer signings don't look so clever now. Barry looks terrible, Dibling isn't getting a kick, Alcaraz getting pity minutes, Aznou nowhere near it. All while not addressing the lack of pace at the back and a reliable striker

Is it fair that young people accrue student debts their parents didn't? Is it fair that renting is now more expensive than a mortgage? Is it the two-child benefit cap fair?
Did the people able to afford £2m+ houses possibly manage to do so because of the inherent unfairness in the system?

I meant he was sold for £60m, so out of the £160m BBC are saying we've spent on strikers, Lukaku and Richarlison sales cover £150m of it.

Payment plan? You realise when you buy something on a "payment plan" that you've got to pay in full whether you like it or not?

I didn't mean the team so much as the signings, the rhetoric around Wirtz is so very different to what it was around saying Caicedo who got basically bullied by the Sky Chuckle Brothers based off of rejecting Liverpool and then having a bad debut.With Wirtz it's just "he'll come good" and move on.
