I sincerely believe that if you showed Keir Starmer as PM to 2010 Keir Starmer, he’d vow to never go into politics would instead seek some kind of role at the UN
Excellent thread that leads me back to my biggest question about Starmer, which is why he's doing this? He seems like someone who would have been very content as, say, a senior judge. He doesn't have the obvious lust for self-aggrandisement as, say, Johnson.
