No, you’re right. We need to focus on the key points at the moment. Such as why do they need laptop each? Then perhaps I can pay less attention to the rest of the world.

Posted this on the other side last year but for COVID Rememberance thought I would repost here. I don’t post family photos on social media as my family’s pictures are theirs, not mine to use, but don’t think anyone is getting much personal detail from this so this is my wife, 3 weeks after COVID.

Another wonderful day on “Great” Western Railways. The 1403 to Penzance is no longer going to Penzance. And it’s late anyway. Hopefully I get to my family in St Ives before I have to turn around and go back on Sunday.

With thanks to Alistair Campbell, as after > 30 year career in public service I'd not seen this. Lin Wells was a DoD official who had been asked by Rumsfeld for his thoughts on the future of defence spending. I think he sums up the value of these planning exercises perfectly.
