My shock isn't that Clint Eastwood buys some of this art, but that in the USA, people accept they have to do this. In the UK. Reform, Conservatives and, increasingly, Labour want the NHS to end up like American "healthcare" where many people can't afford treatment to get better.

This AM I was at the #HolocaustMemorialDay event organised by Broxtowe BC, Nottinghamshire - a solemn occasion. It was timely to hear about the first Jewish High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire's family's experience during WW2 and since.
If only we could force world leaders to hear us say #NeverAgain.

This was a great event today - so pleased to have the opportunity to go. Thanks to the Nottingham branch of @pscupdates.bsky.social and all the team who organised it and to the amazing guests who cooked, danced, sang, and played. Of course, the food from Falafel Nottingham was delicious.
