This is how I know we’re nowhere near close to AGI. Making shit up, then telling the truth about making shit up — humans would never do that.

See, I want it to make shit up, and then when caught, blame it on Deborah in accounting.

FYI - there’s more to see in Room 46 if you’ve only gotten there for credits.

When talking about all the dangers of AI, most people only go to the arts and make their points there. Almost everyone seems to forget the creativity in STEM fields, the very thing that made this tech bros rich and made AI possible. And the use of AI is killing it, any understanding at all of logic.

There are a lot of improvements to the RPG elements of TOW2, but it does have a similar style and sense of humor as the first one. So, I guess it just depends on what you didn’t like about the first one.

I still have Z-A, but I did end up dropping it to play Outer Worlds 2. Probably will go back to Pokemon at some point, but I’m on my second run of Outer Worlds 2, so it’s the clear winner.

I loved the “post game” content, but I think it was perfect self selection. If you get to Room 46 and do not feel a strong pull to investigate any of the dangling mysteries, then room 46 is the ending for you.

Draft new rooms, explore interactions between rooms. Explore other mysteries instead of fixating on the single goal. Lots of discoveries make exploration easier. Bump up allowance and stars.

Yeah, you just gotta go with the flow and explore what mysteries are open to you. It’s just that for some reason it never occurred to me that there was more to room 46, so I wasn’t even trying to return at first.

PSA - go back to room 46 if you’ve only been there the once.

I’m not sure how quickly I would’ve figured it out, but before I even played the game I asked my kids if they had heard of Blue Prince and they both thought I said blueprints and then wondered why I was wondering if it had to do with royalty.

If it wasn’t for his quick work at the transporter controls during the rescue/kidnapping of Locutus, then Picard, Worf, and Data would’nt have been beamed off the shuttle before it was destroyed, and the Borg would’ve assimilated Earth.

One thing I wish the game had made clear was the benefit of going back to room 46. So if you only made it to credits, make your first priority to go back a second time.

Yep, that’s Fallout 3. (DLC)

It is a puzzle game with small self contained puzzles and larger hidden puzzles. There are mechanics that will eventually cause you to “call it a day” and start over the next day from “scratch”. But apart from the knowledge you’ve gained there are permanent unlockables that can carry over.

I agree that those are particularly annoying, but still did find some great gameplay afterward. That said there are some excellent gameplay and lore videos out there if you just want know what happens.

Your math is a little off.

I think it’s just divisive. For those of us that it really clicked for, we can’t stop talking about it. Whereas I fell off of Expedition 33 after a couple of hours. Different strokes. As far as the RNG complaints, I see it a lot like poker. With skill and patience, luck becomes less of a factor.
