Oh, the rage I felt as a teenager when I would overhear my SBC mother telling people who had looked down on my sweet daddy how he had "grown in grace and spirit" as he suffered from terminal cancer. (He was the nurturing parent, a kind, good man who was better than any of them.)

So sorry she put you in that position. Husband and I meet our new dentist next week. She has promised to do whatever we need to feel comfortable. Here's hoping. (Dropped our last one of 25+ yrs for their COVID ignorance and callous attitude.)

Why do I have to learn this? I'll never need it! Boggled my mind when I sat in class with those folks as a kid, boggles my mind today as I watch their ilk going about their narrow lives showing off their ignorance and stupidity and doing great harm to themselves and others.
