I'll never forget former LA mayor Eric Garcetti saying, "In a good economy, homelessness goes up."

A perfect illustration of what happens when "the economy" is measured by everything except people's ability to meet their most essential material needs.

1. This is stolen land. We have no moral right to exclude anyone.

2. "Illegal immigration" is a product of 20th century racism; your forebears came "legally" because there was no such thing as "illegal immigration" then.

3. Open borders are good. Borders are racist and colonial violence.

The Democrats' big idea prior to the election was to create a "Moderate Party" ballot line to offset the "Conservative Party" ballot line all the NY Republicans are also listed on for elections. Looks like it worked great! Its Democratic founder lost by 8 points!
Moderate Party launches in Nassau County to reject extremism
The moderate party is a rejection of political extremism, co-founder Dave Kerpen said, seeking to better represent voters who reside in the middle.
