Dr. Ahmed Al-Farra, head of pediatrics at Nasser Hospital, said Rou’a Ameen Mashi died three hours ago from starvation. She had no pre-existing health conditions but lost over 50% of her body weight. “She simply died because there was no food for her to eat,” he said.
