One thing I loved about Frankenstein (2025) was that Victor is pointedly addressed as Baron Frankenstein NOT Dr Frankenstein

We watched Frankenstein—I read the book* (memorably) one weird incredibly hot summer largely sitting in graveyards aged about 19 and accept it as an interpretation…
It’s a beautiful film—and I forgive the wolves—though it could have done with more hammers?
* to be clear I’ve read it more than once
Comment on Frankenstein, given the date I assume the novel:ultimately the truth about frankenstein is that we are all grotesque amalgamations of the best and worst parts of everyone who came before us. and sometimes the people who are supposed to love us because of and in spite of this will not. and we can kill them with hammers for that. and i think that's beautiful Victor in Frankenstein 2025 looking utterly gorgeous and very pissed off (Oscar Isaacs did an amazing job! what a nasty Victor we got here!)
