Just to make it very clear where I stand—I am a huge fan of vaccination, it has saved literally millions of lives and is a force for great good in this world

I’m currently in a vaccine trial and volunteer with vaccine involvement work (ask me about involvement!)

With all the shady evidence coming out (with more to follow), MAGA is pivoting from “It's a hoax! Donald Trump had no relationship with Jeffrey Epstein!” to “Yeah, what’s the big deal about trafficking 15-year-olds anyway?”

Sixty-five years ago today, four first-graders desegregated New Orleans's public schools: Ruby Bridges at William Frantz Elementary School, and Leona Tate, Tessie Provost, and Gail Etienne at McDonogh 19 Elementary School. They faced violent mobs and threats to their lives. They were 6 years old. 🗃

Just write out "fucked", for goodness sake.
The problem after 14 years of damage wreaked by the Tories is that we now have a f***ed up BBC and a f***ed up NHS.

But, remember, the f***ing up has come from outside. It is not intrinsic

We desperately need a properly functioning BBC and properly functioning NHS

DEFEND THEM!

“Didn’t you want to break free of this bondage?”

“Why didn’t you have duvets???”

these are all valid questions and genuinely—it was weird how long people held out against duvets

For reasons I ended up explaining to my 18 year old how we used to make beds when I was a child in the 1970s
With sheets and blankets and a counterpane over the top…

They looked at me as if I was making it up

“But weren’t you like, pinned to the bed?”
“Didn’t it take ages to make every day?”

One of my first articles as a science reporter was about this debate in 2013. www.sciencenews.org/article/anim...

I hope it never ends.
Animal origins shift to comb jellies
Genetic data confirm the marine predators have more ancient origin than simpler sponges.

“I have spent far too much time in the last few weeks thinking about Hitler's junk.”

Bravo!

Fascinating to hear he may indeed have only had one ball…

I genuinely thought that was just a song…
Hitler's health and sexual behaviour have been pored over (with varying degrees of scholarship for a century). This new genetic evidence is (I think) noteworthy.

I have spent far too much time in the last few weeks thinking about Hitler's junk.
