I use WSL and MSYS2 pretty much every day.
I'm frequently copying a Windows path that I want to do something with in a bash shell in WSL or MSYS2, and I have to manually manipulate that string to use POSIX path separators, remove the Windows drive letter, etc. So I thought, why not script this?

The last time I had a compile take this long, I was recompiling my kernel to get a winmodem working in Minicom and USB wasn't a thing yet...

it's 2002. I've just put a sick new skin on winamp and kazaa just finished downloading tool_lateralus_full_album.mp3 and I just got finished watching the new flash animation about counter strike. "uhoh" I hear from ICQ. my HP desktop has about 3000 viruses on it.
