I'm just a person with a lot of experiences and opinions. Sometimes I talk about them. I'm often appalled, but rarely shocked.
She/her, gay for my 🏳️‍⚧️ wife, atheist, leftist, specialized dietary needs, neurodivergent, concerned about others, childfree. Etc.

I'm old enough to remember all the cries of "the Democrats are trying, but nothing can pass the Senate without a supermajority! There's nothing we can do about it!"

There clearly was.

The ratchet effect is fcking real. Stop defending them.

My perfect day cost 1/5 of the average. Can recommend.

In a world of exploitative price-gougers, be Costco.

How am I "somewhere between lawful good and chaotic good" but not really neutral good?

If you've heard of half of the artists in my #SpotifyWrapped and you don't live with me, I'll be pretty surprised.

Go listen to Poets of the Fall, though. Seriously, they're so good (and I need them to be more popular for karaoke reasons.)

This made me think of that trans hydra that someone made trying to attack the community, but instead it's super badass

(Case in point, the time she was trying to break into a muffin clamshell, lost track of what she was tearing at, and put a hole in my bedsheet)

Old video I found of my former kitten, Coral. She was such a darling (when she wasn't trying to steal food.)

Super easy homemade mayo (yes rly!)

1 egg (or equivalent of liquid pasteurized egg, as I use)
Lil salt (optional)
1 Tbsp your favorite mustard
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 cup oil
Pour all into a mason jar, put a stick blender in, activate, and move it upward. No slow drizzle required.

Time is all we get. Finding someone we want to spend it with is precious beyond description.

@theamazingando.com I treasure the time we have together. I want you to know that every day.

The best solution I have now found is a strainer lined with cheesecloth and a paper towel. The paper towel catches basically all particulates. The cheesecloth keeps the paper towel from ripping. Gorgeous, clear ghee in one shot.

Step one: boil butter. I was afraid of burning it the first time, but it's really important it be really hot and start to foam, or the solids won't separate. Pics for reference how it looks when it's properly boiling and separating. Stir pretty frequently. You should see sediment under the foam.
