They are a pain to work with, but added a smokey flavor to the mead. I want to make another batch but the bears and coyotes keep eating the prickly pears before I get around to picking them

I haven't made any in awhile. Made a batch with prickly pear cactus fruit one year that phenomenal.

He polished and brought me that last time he came rockhounding. I generally keep some around, and he brings me a bucket of two twice a year.

Looks like some Canadian River agate from the same area as Alibates. Can often find fortifications and moss agate in broken Flint boulders. I'll double check my source though.
