It has features associated with poo. Folds and worm holes. Some of the dark silica material is formed in such a way as to possibly be undigested bone. But the clincher is the pinched off end.
It was found in an area that was a shallow shore of a mountainous island in an inland sea.

It has features associated with poo. Folds and worm holes. Some of the dark silica material is formed in such a way as to possibly be undigested bone. But the clincher is the pinched off end.

It's slowly polishing under the awning from rain runoff. Have to turn it periodically.
