Ok but as someone who grew up Roman Catholic mabey it will result in less bigotry. Probably not but I have to hope for the bad shit to stop.

They must so. They made a whole big deal about it in CCD, they were super reluctant to talk about it in the first place, and put a strong emphasis that certinan conditions had to be met and emphasized that a divorce cannot occur because the process meant that a marriage had never taken place at all.

I grew up Roman Catholic in the US and its very much a thing here you can only get it annulled like the declaration of nullity thing which the Catholic church here rationalizes by saying there actually never was a marriage because certain conditions were not met.

Good now the bad luck is gone.

This is so fucking gross.

It allowed Republicans to create an us vs them argument towards groups they had already formed negative stereotypes to, where fighting for equality meant they would be still economically struggling.

Transgender people did not lose the Democrats the election, fighting for trans people did not lose the election. Moderate Dems lost because they weren't doing enough for the working class and gave Republicans the false narrative that fighting for trans people meant you couldn't fight for all people.

It will help the progressive wing of their party win the house because they are the people who actively fought against it a lot of them appear like sellouts right now.

Yo wtf!!!!

I want to say protect judges, especially for all the good ones out there, but it's really hard to do that when the supreme court just took a lot of my rights as a trans woman away and they also gave Donald immunity.

This decision has a risk of removing healthcare from even adult trans people (we are Americans too you know)

Ahh reading the lore thanks for the clarification

Who is this my blue sky says blocked
June 15, 2025 at 10:01 PM
I wonder if the emptiness they refer to is in part, of many things, due to the fact that bluesky doesn't try to make you addicted to it as of now(knock on wood). A lot of social media tries to alternate between negative and positive to drip feed you dopamine. Could this be the void they are feeling?

I love this. They are so fucking weird.

Freud I don't think your penis envy ideas usually have merit to most the population but ummm... I think we might have a case study or two for you. Sincerely 2025

I also forgot it's specifically for trans people who have died due to anti trans violence, but I've also seen it used just generally to rember trans people who have lost their lives in the community due to all the social pressures against them.

*Remember typo sorry
June 5, 2025 at 6:35 AM
Thank you. If you ever want to rember her. That's what trans day of remembrance is for. You might find a local ceremony. Transition is a healing journey where people get to be themselves, but sometimes when people don't have support they need they are not able to stay afloat. (Simplifying things)

It's also hard to really have trans people in their orbits we are at most 3% to 1% of the human population. 1 out of 100, 3 out of 100 people they will ever meet. Mostly likely they won't even know they saw a trans person as their cashier or if they are lucky perhaps we're their niece or nephew.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.
