Since joining here, I’ve not gone back to Twitter at all… done with that platform!

His job is easier than a meteorologist… except they are more accurate!

Did you read the article? It’s not about forcing anyone to listen to her bit not canceling her for her opinion. Let’s not paint this with broad strokes

I came here for open dialogue that is civil… not to keep out half the country. It’s not helpful to demonize Trump supporters which then contributes to a toxic atmosphere. If you want to keep this place civil, lead by example.

I don't want this to be an echo-chamber, there should be differing views and all spectrum of political sides. After all, the far left is closer to the far right then the middle!

I like Polis for being a free thinker and not lock step with his party (he's a Libertarian at heart). He made some valid points on some of the positives about RFK's agenda that if they hold true, would bring about positive reforms for many areas of Ag and health.

Depends on where you are from. In Florida that is chilly sweater weather, in Colorado shorts and t shirt 😂

It also provides a more nuanced understanding of temperature changes 72°F vs. 73°F feels like a noticeable difference in comfort. In Celsius, the equivalent is 22.2°C vs. 22.8°C, which is less precise and often rounded to 22°C or 23°C. The rest of the world got it wrong on this one!

I disagree. The one thing we got right is Fahrenheit When you look at anything that is very temperature sensitive, it provides more precision. It was designed with human comfort in mind (0°F: The freezing point of brine and 100°F: Approximate human body temperature)
