For the past few months, a couple of times per week, we have been taking a walk around the Garscube campus. So far we have identified at least 34 different bird species. I'm looking forward to Summer when some of our migratory birds come back and we can add them to our list!

This feels like a good opportunity to reintroduce myself. I'm a microbiologist who has worked on antibiotic resistance and the gut microbiome. I've recently moved to @cruk-si.bsky.social on the beautiful Garscube campus. I'll be using my skills to study various aspects of bacterial cancer therapy!
