Without it the Government could scrap the State Pension, Minimum Wage, Working Hour Limits and Paid Holiday in 1 day and there is nothing you could do.

What a load of rubbish. First of all - tied to UK? There won't be a UK.
Any country can and do trade in any currency they choose.
Our currency would be a legitimate currency just as it is in every other country.

But as most people who support independence accept, a "Scottish currency" cannot work, all trade will be done in existing currencies, no other country will want to hold Scottish currency. There are only two options: GBP or EUR, tied to the UK or Germany.
