Academic intelligence is hot but it's important to remember there are many kinds of intelligence that are valuable! Some people are street smart. Some are emotionally intelligent. Some people just innately know if a raccoon ACTUALLY wants to hang out or if it's going to steal your truck.

So I got a commission request from a gentleman we'll refer to as Greg recently that I didn't accept because it involved changing a queer character's sexual orientation. When I declined, Greg asked, "What are you, some kind of scissor soldier?"
It was so metal, I made a military patch out of it.
