He/Him
A solid, if unspectacular, delve into chamber pop, largely stripped down. The album revolves heavily around Savage's voice, which on some songs doesn't quite work for me, but on others strikes a beautiful tone. Agnes tops the tracks.

This was Myers' debut album, and it's one of the most impressive debuts I've ever heard. It's overrun with banging riffs, sexual aggression, and brutal, honest songwriting. Desire was the hit, but Sorry, Lemon Eyes, and The Morning After all match it.

Jack White truly knows how to put together a banger. I'm a sucker for good garage rock and the Stripes are the kings of the genre for good reason. Dead Leaves & the Dirty Ground, Fell In Love With a Girl, I Think I Smell A Rat go hard.

While not as strong as Stick Season, Busyhead still has some pretty high highs, particularly in the opening duo and the title track. A little less stomp & holler than Kahan's third effort, to its detriment, but still an enjoyable listen!

Come a Little Closer and Cigarette Daydreams are the stars of the album for sure, but there are some underrated bops here. It's Just Forever, Halo, and Teeth are all pretty good, and Hypocrite and Take It Or Leave It make it solidly good.

The way Marling threads together four distinct sounds that create one coherent tapestry on this album is nothing short of impressive. I Was an Eagle, Devil's Resting Place, and Saved These Words all bang. My favorite folk album yet.

I'm a relative newcomer to the KG&tLW party, but boy am I glad to be here. Stellar mix of psychedelic and garage rock here. The opening four tracks are one mega banger, and Am I in Heaven? is one of my new favorites.
