I need more people to learn rook script to call me on bullshit. Does it make sense that vowels are always written right to left? Should I have filler characters for unused spaces? Should I merge the weak vowels into one? Everything makes too much sense to me and I don’t know if I’m just too close

One thing about rook script is it has stroke order and that informs the shape of all the letters

The actual neat thing about Shavian is that basically every major critique I have is addressed by Quikscript, but Quikscript isn’t nearly as popular because it was never added to Unicode

I’ve been thinking about adding a fourteenth vowel to rook script. Probably won’t, but it would be /iʊ/ or /ɪʊ/, which feels more appropriate to the sound in “mew” and “queue” than /juː/
