Did a Haunting of Hill House page in my junk journal yesterday. The red pen didn't show up quite as well as I'd have liked but I'm pleased with it overall.

An hour after making this sad post, I remembered I had received a package from a dear friend today that I hadn't opened. So I open it and find two books, and it was honestly such a bright little light in what is such a horrible time right now.

Over the weekend, I finished the front and back covers of my 2025 #junkjournal. Rather pleased with how it's turned out so far. Front is pages from a too-beat-up-to-read copy of Grimm's fairy tales, and back is a bunch of fabric sample squares from the stash! 🧶 #craftsky

Also got these beautifully sturdy embroidery hoops, my partner got a lovely foil/leaf set, paint brushes, watercolor pens, and that dark rumpled fabric barely in the corner is a few yards of very nice poly velvet. We are both QUITE pleased with our haul. This is my favorite annual event now.😍
